How to integrate with azure search openai demo app?

azure.core.exceptions.HttpResponseError: () The field 'id' in the search field list is not searchable.

Code:

Any solution for above error?

I think perhaps the field names got mixed up? I haven't been able to replicate the issue with my index.

Check your env variables look like this:

AZURE_SEARCH_IDENTIFIER_FIELD=id
AZURE_SEARCH_CONTENT_FIELD=content
AZURE_SEARCH_TITLE_FIELD=sourcepage
AZURE_SEARCH_EMBEDDING_FIELD=embedding

Yes it is correctly set.

AZURE_SEARCH_EMBEDDING_FIELD=embedding

Within _search_tool function update your search query with below code, You need to specify search_fields

search_results = await search_client.search(
search_text=args["query"],
query_type="semantic" if semantic_configuration else "simple",
semantic_configuration_name=semantic_configuration,
top=5,
vector_queries=vector_queries,
search_fields=[content_field], # Specify search_fields
select=", ".join([identifier_field, content_field])
)
