Suggestion: Participate in Hacktoberfest? #2744

Hi everyone,
With GitHub Copilot now able to help with PRs, code reviews, issue raising, and so on, I thought I'd make a modest suggestion: How about participating in Hacktoberfest this year?
It could be a nice way to welcome new contributors and get help with open issues or ideas. If maintainers are interested, maybe we could add the hacktoberfest topic on the project.
Just putting this out there for discussion! Happy to hear what others think.
