Should the Rust management code be its own project?

I'm wondering, since Pyaket deals with cross compilation, installing rust in a convenient way, etc. - should it be split into a separate project that only handles such parts? (rustup, toolchains, packages, msvc, ...)

My spiritual answer is yes but practical answer is no.

It's not like Pyaket can't be used to only install rust, but it might not be known for it for its name.
