Failed to create `rpc-reply`

When I tried to do lyd_new_any to create reply for an rpc, with name "data", I got this error:

libyang[0]: Any node "data" not found.

Then you have used wrong parameters. An RPC without data output node, most likely. If you add some details I may be able to tell you more.

The rpc is an action of this form,

The action definition should also have output with leaf data?

I do not know what you are trying to achieve but I see that you do not really understand what you are doing. All lyd_new_* functions create nodes that must be present in the corresponding YANG modules. For RPC/action output, you can only create nodes that are defined as substatements of output in the RPC/action.
