Custom Cherry Search Callback Functions

So on a project that I am working on, I have to create a customized template that queries Team Members only, and our Team pages used a customized Cherry Team Template. However, unlike the Cherry Teams Plugin, I can't get Cherry Search to accept additional callbacks.

I'm trying to query cherry-team-email, and it looks like I need to add it to the $variable array in class-cherry-search-macros-callback.php. However, it didn't work.
