• Right for agree
• Left for disagree
• Up for neutral
  Also support keyboard mapping L, J, K for agree, disagree and neutral.

About the graph

We will replace the map with a polar area chart:

• Each sector is a group of people interested in a similar set of comments.
• The length of each sector from the origin of the chart indicates the relative number of people within this group.
• The width of each sector indicates the diversity/inclusiveness/board spectrum of comments (e.g. group of people agree on different types of comments, group people agree on specific comment and disagree with other comments)
• And the text for the graph changes when graph changes describing the change of group size and width.

Specifics of the UI aside, this is the sort of experimentation we need! Thanks David!

Meta things I love:

• interactive demo that restarts on refresh. Great for exploring interaction patterns
• the faking of other participants. (!!!) This feels so huge and something really needed. So much of the excitement of Polis is more apparent when live votes are happening on a topic you care about, and the visualisation is actively changing. I never realized how hard it was to communicate that when (even when ppl find "interesting" private topics or case-studies) the conversation is already dead or in cryostasis. Ability to watch conversations live or replay them seems really important, and this is a neat step in that direction

As for the UI itself, a quick review of just the UI for a few minutes (without reading text) left me a bit uncertain how to interpret. I'll come back and read more closely

Not sure about the BI part on polis, but LitePolis do wish to allow integration of BI tools through some modules

Vinesh added support to a datalake house StarRocks for LitePolis and enabled integration with Apache Superset, FineBI, Tableau and Jupyter (through JupySQL)

I asked AI for visualization, it says graphics are too fancy all we need is a table of groups and their attributes of comments/number of people etc.
