Why i can't switch to directories on /mnt/ subdirectories? (NTFS mount points)

I mounted two NTFS partitions on /mnt/D and /mnt/E on my Linux machine.
These are the equivalent of D:\ and E:\ on my window os.

The problem is that when I want to define root in file_browser.conf and I open mpv-file-browser in MPV, I see two green labels and I can't search or enter through them.(Seems they are locked for exploration but don't know why). This is how I defined root:

root=~/,/mnt/D/video/,/mnt/E/video/,

Can you show a screenshot of the mpv root, the folders you are trying to open, and upload an mpv log (--log-file) of you trying to open the folders.

The path that I invoked mpv command is here:

But wait, why I see in the logs: [file_browser] could not read directory /mnt/video/, It's not /mnt/video/, it's /mnt/D/video/.

This is puzzling. Could you please upload a log file generated by the --log-file=log.txt --msg-level=file_browser='debug' options?

I found an interesting thing!

Try creating a folder in your home directory called: a(it doesn't matter the name, it should just be a single letter).

mpv-file-browser can't handle it!

And if I try to open to it, it will open ~ instead.

Seems it's a problem to handle single characters directories?
