Only seeing each individual expense and the total sum isn't very helpful.
Describe the solution you'd like
A new tab which would show some statistics. For the initial version, I suggest it could show a pie chart with the same colors as can be chosen per expense, with each expense of that color grouped into the same section of the pie chart, and it would show the total sum for each color.
Describe alternatives you've considered, if any
Better options would include a tagging or category system, or an option to group the main list view by color instead of simply sorting by the size of the individual expense.
Additional context
Eg. if I could more easily see how big of a share mandatory living expenses are compared to things like transportation, membership fees, hobbies and subscriptions, the app would be much more helpful.
