Solid3D extrusions or 3D cylinders

What's the best way to create 3D Solids from other acad entities by extrusion or how to create a 3D cylinders and other shapes. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you want to work with fbx files or other 3d format you may be interested in my other project MeshIO. It hasn't been really active but if you need any help or a fix in the library I can help you out.
