Please re-state the problem that we are trying to solve in this issue.

Inconsistencies in starting workspace settings when making creating workspace during onboarding vs from workspaces page.

What is the root cause of that problem?

It is debatable if this is an issue or by design. However, there are some inconsistencies in how the initial settings of a workspace are being decided. Generally, while in onboarding flow, the issue is here

engagementChoice: CONST.ONBOARDING_CHOICES.TRACK_WORKSPACE,

i.e. onboardingPurposeSelected is hard coded to CONST.ONBOARDING_CHOICES.TRACK_WORKSPACE.

While when making workspaces from the workspaces page, it uses

. This is a bit strange as neither use what is actually in onyx under ONBOARDING_WORKSPACE_DETAILS_FORM key.

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

If the goal is indeed to have the same settings in the two workflows that are listed in the issue description then the way to do it would be to also use engagementChoice: CONST.ONBOARDING_CHOICES.MANAGE_TEAM when creating workspace from the onboarding.
