Networking VMs in Proxmox #24

Trying to import the 5x VMs into proxmox 8
I have been able to get pfsense, scadabr, plc and workstation networking with each other.
I have not been able to get simulation to work an all interfaces/subsets.
To get plc working, for example I ran
lshw -C network
To obtain the logical name of the network adapter (ens18). Then edited /etc/network/interfaces and overwrote enp0s3 with ens18
When I look to do the same with the simulation box there are multiple adapters/subsets e.g. enp0s8:5
replacing enp0s8:5 with ens18:5 for example does not appear to work.
There is a piece to the puzzle that I am missing. Any assistance gratefull received.
