Is the google-cloud-profiler Python agent still maintained? (Jan 2026)

As of January 2026, it looks like the last commit was in July 2024 and the last release (4.1.0) was August 2023. There's major outstanding problems with Python >= 3.11 (see #142 and #149). Python 3.11 was released in 2022, and Python 3.10 is old enough that it's being EOL'd later this year.

Does Google have any plans to either fix the incompatibilities with current Python versions or officially list Google Cloud Profiler's Python support as deprecated? Even just reviewing this PR would be great:
