• All design tokens are updated to match the new 2.0 designs
  • Has new & updated colour values
  • Has new & updated border radius values
  • Has new & updated shadow & elevation values
  • Has new & updated typography values

Web Component

• Has a version property, if needed
  • Controls a v2 class on the root element
• Has the new v2 properties, if any
• Has new CSS, if needed
  • All CSS is scoped to v2 class
  • Has CSS for new layout
  • Has CSS for new properties

Testing

• When the web component has the version=2 property...
  • It looks and behaves like the updated v2 component
  • All v2 properties work as expected
• When the web component has the version=1 property...
  • It looks and behaves like the current component
  • All v2 properties have no effect
