Domain filter not working

For security reasons i will not give my compant domain, but imagine my company email adress is ivo.leal@abcdef.pt.
So, i put abcef.pt in the allowed domain text box. but if i do hat i cannot login, it says that the domain doesn't have permissions, what am i doing worng?
