gst-plugins-good (1.18.4) breaks with LTO #777

Aloha! This is an issue I ran into recently while catching up on some upgrades, where gst-plugins-good dies mysteriously about a third of the way into the build. I haven't tried any fixes yet as I'm still busy compiling the other programs, but I was able to find corroborating bug tracker reports with both the GStreamer project itself as well as Gentoo, so it does seem to be an issue or bug with gst-plugins-good and not just an artifact of my particular setup.
