Paraview collections restart #147

I am using WriteVTK.jl in conjunction with ReadVTK.jl to restart a simulation at a timestep of my choice. I am storing the metadata as a Paraview collection with rectilinear grid datasets. This requires that I set "append=true" when creating the pvd object for the restart as I don't want to overwrite the entire pvd file. The issue with this is that any timesteps that are being recalculated due to the restart are simply appended into the old pvd file without overwriting the old ones. Lets say I restart a simulation at timestep 10, the pvd file will then contain timesteps 1-9 (which is expected) but then there will be two pvtr files for timesteps 10,11,12,13,... up to the point where the initial simulation ended. Therefore, I want to only overwrite the timesteps that are being recalculated. From what I can tell there isn't a simple workaround to this. Any suggestions?
