The MacGap website will need to mention MacGap 1 and explain the difference. Proposed wording:
MacGap 2 only supports OS X 10.9 and higher. If you require your app to run on earlier versions of OS X, you will need to use MacGap 1, which is entirely functional but no longer under active development.
