High availability cluster deployment issues

Hello, could I take a moment to ask if I can take a leave? I deployed the cluster following the document's instructions. When I manually stopped one node to simulate a failure, it would cause my entire service to become unavailable. Which document's configuration should I check to modify my default settings?
