I don’t think there is any project plan as of yet. But yes we can surely discuss an form a plan and arrange meetups, the initial format is to work and build the website with proper information regarding any happenings and also the website show;d contain code snippets and tutorials to link to the right place and forums, after which we can arrange for a meetup, call for speakers in those meetup and beer camps or boot camps. :)

Since about an year or so, MumPy meetups have been happening as a part of Mumbai Tech Meetup (usually) scheduled on every 3rd Sunday of the Month at the Directi office in Andheri. AFAIK, there's no MumPy meetup this month due to lack of speakers. I suggest you join and post on the google group - https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/mumpy

Also, it would be great to revive the discussions about the website on the group :-). There has been some interest in working on the website in the past but no work has been done yet.

A full fledged website is a good idea which will act as the front face for any meetup, discussions or events happening around or related to particular user group. A monthly meetup is a good initative. We can surely plan to have some in mumbai as well as navi mumbai, I would also suggest to start boot camps kind of stuff, where it is not really mandatory for a speaker but it can be a good oppurtunity to learn something new tips or tricks.
