Role issue

On my PW installation, If Guests can bypass the maintenance page, un-logged visitor can see the website as well. How is it possible?
Currently, guests can

• Edit page
• Page view

Module version: 1.0.7
PW version: 2.6.1

If you haven't put Guests in the "Allow specific roles to bypass maintenance mode" box in the module config then I'm not sure how that's possible.

How exactly are they bypassing the maintenance page? Just by typing in a URL to another page?

Also, why have you given guests edit permissions? I'm not sure if that would cause the problem, but thought I'd ask to see what your guests are requiring edit permission for.

I am sorry I was not clear: I choose “Gest” for “Allow specific roles to bypass maintenance mode”, so they can access the website. The problem is that normal visitors can see the website, as if the website were public !

Also, why have you given guests edit permissions?

Well I need an editor role, is it wierd to do so?
