New feature idea : Option to disable company relation on job

Hi everyone,

I have an idea I’d like to work on during the OCA Days next week, and I’d appreciate your feedback.

The issue:
In a multi-company environment, it’s currently not possible to requeue or cancel a job for a company other than the one I’m logged into. Even though I can see all jobs (as a superuser or when selecting all companies), I can only take action on jobs that belong to my active company.

Proposed solution:
I plan to add a setting in res.config.settings to enable this feature. By default, it will be disabled to preserve the current behavior.

Do you see any objections to this approach? Any feedback or suggestions are very welcome.

I just tried this on one of my multi-company Odoo 18 servers and was unable to reproduce:

1. Log in to company 1 as admin
2. Use company switcher to select all three companies (leaving company 1 as primary)
3. Requeue job in company 2
4. No problem
