Describe the bug

In the Open-Shell start menu, using the command to open file location freezes until an explorer window is manually launched which then completes the command.

Area of issue

Windows Explorer, Start menu

To reproduce

1. Go to Start
2. Go to Programs
3. Pick a program shortcut
4. right click
5. click Open File Location

Expected behavior

Should open up instantly upon clicking the command.

What is the exact version of your Windows? (Windows settings -> System -> About)

and yeah it might be similar.

I can replicate that exact same behaviour. Saving the XML for the Open-Shell is the same bug but Classic Explorer works fine saving it's XML.
