It'd be great to move to the latest Ubuntu LTS as the base OS. Unfortunately there aren't any official Vagrant boxes for Ubuntu for the Noble series (or later)¹, though we can probably move to using Bento boxes instead (which are recommended by HashiCorp and somewhat well recognised).
