Restore saved Value ?

Hello,

the deprecated action "restore" in the automation does not work anymore.
So how could I restore a alarm state of alarmo back to an entity within an automation ?

You can use the saved state using these template functions in any service call.

What kind of entity specifically do you want to restore?

I want to restore the value of an alarm entity (Alarmo).
The problem is, that I have only fixed action to set the value again...but the action has the name e.g. "alarm_arm_night" and the saved state is "armed_night"

So it is not so easy (for me!) so make it work....

You can use the choose with the template condition to execute a specific action for a specific saved state

I tried this before, but now I solved it...and ist works...but an direct recover (as the deprecated action) would be easier for me...

The deprecated action worked in exactly the same way. If you want things to work "automagically" you can try to use built-in scenes instead
