Fractional scaling issue under wayland

Wayland produces a too large window with much of it being transport with fractional scaling set to higher than 100% on the desktop

The way I've been getting around this is setting a variable before cargo run

export WAYLAND_DESKTOP=

which forces X11 in my desktop environment (ubuntu)
