Cannot disable Automatic Self Calibration

Attempting to disable automatic self calibration but returns error and self calibration returns 1 when checked with geAutomatictSelfCalibration

This self calibration algorithm is making the data it returns absolutely useless, and its assumption of being exposed to fresh air at 400ppm is ludecrous given that global average is already 425, and most of us are working in cities or labs where this is much higher!

What exactly is the error you get back? Can you provide a short snippet of your code? And are you using SCD40 or SCD41?
Also keep in mind that changing this setting only gets stored in RAM. If you want it to persist through power cycles you will have to call persistSettings() after changing it.

Regarding your second concern, you can configure various parameters of the ASC algorithm. By calling setAutomaticSelfCalibrationTarget(ascTarget) you could set the ASC baseline target value to whatever ppm value you want (this also needs a call to persistSettings() if you want it to persist through power cycles).

I noticed a similar issue - if I power_down the device after persistSettings then reinit() after wakeUp() it seems to store them ok.
