Prettier vs Prettify? #4

Honestly I'm not sure if those are the same (?) but
In my project I'm using prettier workflow and i would love to have the ability to run it in VS, sadly only extension that seems to exists is for VS Code
Was hoping this will be the same but appears to not be the case, and the effect actually looks very similar to the default formatter already build in the VS, not sure if it's missing the defaults or it's something completely different?
Also: I know that comments are technically not supported in json, but it would be nice if the tools would just not touch them instead of removing them (would not suspect from formatting tool to remove any data)
