How to structure my RDL to get uvm_reg_block layer along with the package containing all the uvm_reg definitions?

I'm using PeakRDL solely to generate to UVM regs for DV. Currently I'm able to generate my_csr_pkg.sv from the file my_csr_regFile.rdl, which consists of an addrmap with all the CSRs defined inside it. That part works nicely.
But it seems like there should be a way to get peakrdl to generate the uvm_reg_block that instantiates all of these uvm_regs too. I found the template code used to do this, but i can't figure out how to structure my RDL constructs (and files) to make this happen.
I've read the sections on RDL address map and register file components, and tried to adjust my hierarchy to instance my addrmap component in a regfile component (as the spec seems to imply is legal in the first sentence of chapter 12), but peakrdl uvm says i can't do that. Going around in circles at this point, and feel like i'm missing something really basic.
Can anyone point me to an example that defines a CSR (and maybe some other stuff) that peakrdl uvm uses to generate a uvm_reg that is instanced in a uvm_reg_block?

Can you paste a small trimmed-down example of the RDL you are providing it, as well as any error messages you've encountered? Hard to tell what is going on from just your description.

PeakRDL will recursively traverse the children of the top-level addrmap and generate UVM code for all of them, so something must be missing somewhere.

Hey, i'm feeling pretty stupid right now. The uvm_reg_block class was tucked in at the bottom of the pkg, after the dozens of uvm_reg defns (right where it should be, in fact). I had scrolled through most of it to spot check for obvious problems in my RDL, but never to the bottom of the file.
When i put together the stripped down copy to post, with just one reg defn, it was blindingly obvious that there were two classes generated, the uvm_reg and the uvm_reg_block.
So, thank you very much for the help, as well as for this tool. And major kudos for the fastest response time i've ever seen.
