data.img: no such file or directory

I ran into this issue when trying to Up the CoreOS image. As pointed out here, you will need to have

brew install libev
then click on CoreOS for MacOS --> Up

You should now see the following

➜  ~ /Applications/CoreOS.app/Contents/Resources/up.command; exit;
CoreOS VM data disk does not exist, it will be created now ...

Please type Data disk size in GBs followed by [ENTER]:
[default is 40]: 15

Creating 15GB sparse disk (QCow2)...

Created 15GB Data disk

Starting VM ...

> booting core-01 (1/1)
---> 'core-01' started successfuly with address <localIP> and PID <pid>
---> 'core-01' boot logs can be found at '/Users/.....'
---> 'core-01' console can be found at '/Users/...../tty'

Preset CoreOS VM App shell ...
