[Bug] Markdown not rendered correctly on GitHub Pages

The homepage wouldn't render correctly.

The markdown syntax would display directly raw, thus it seems the issue should be about the Jekyll or github pages.

Here's my environment to spot this bug and screenshots:

• Browser: Mozilla Firefox 142.0b9

• OS: Debian sid

I've been working on this right away, but my solution may feels quite weird. I'd raise a PR for it once I'm done.
