Better error messages when no connection to CloudMux

StackStudio does not currently delineate between a failed auth and an unreachable back end. We probably don't want to give detailed reasons why an auth failed for security reasons but we might want to perform some check upon accessing dashboard page that will give an warning message stating no backend connected/available or something.
