Is this a continuaton of https://sourceforge.net/projects/bashdb/files/bashdb/ ?
The SourceForge project's last release was in 2019 and it is now broken with the latest bash releases.

Could you please tag this repository so that it would be clear what version does it have?

A SourceForge folder has been added for bash 5.2-1.2.0, and a GitHub tag 5.2-1.2.0 has been added now.

But I suspect what you want is the code updated for bash 5.3, which came out recently.

For that, open a separate issue.
