APEX Static Files

Hello,
where do the APEX static files get copied to the container? I had to do it myself to get it working and couldn't find it in the scripts. In my podman container the apex images folder was created, but empty.

Did you run the after-first-db-start.sh script?
During this step APEX images get placed:

Yes I ran the script and it didn’t raise any errors when running. I ran the script locally on my Mac. To copy the files into the container, I would expect a docker copy command.
Can you recreate the containers from scratch on your machine?

There is no need to copy them into the container as the volume should handle that.

Do you use podman-compose ?

If yes could you try altering the volumes to the classic syntax:

    volumes:
      - ./ords-config:/etc/ords/config
      - ./apex-images:/opt/oracle/apex/images

Yes, I use podman compose. Then that’s where my error comes from. It needed like forever to run podman compose for the containers and then I stopped the execution and started them manually. 🙈😂

I really love podman but podman-compose has already caused me so much trouble...
