A problem of missing optical and radiation calculations for different types of aerosols regarding RRTMG #15
Description
I have recently successfully run WRF-GC3.0 and encountered a problem when processing data. The optical parameters it outputs are only those of total aerosols, without those of different species such as BC, OC or Dust, and there is no long-wave or short-wave radiation forcing as shown in the figure1 below. You know, Geoschem can output the optical and radiation parameters of different species, as shown in the figure2 below. After our own investigation, it seems that WRF-GC (whether it is version 2.0 or version 3.0) is unable to call the optical code of the original GC. The calculation code related to optics was re-added, but the complete code for optics and radiation was not written. We don't know if what we think is correct.
