Suggestion: circumference of circle in Activity 2.1.2 something other than 8 #23
Description
I think it's really easy for students to see P_0, P_1, ... P_n and think they necessarily correspond to d=0, d=1, ... d=n. I'm suggesting to further destabilize that shortcut by changing the circumference of the circle in Activity 2.1.2 to be something other than 8, so that the distance between the 8 marked points ends up being something other than 1.
(This would go along with the existing Preview Activity 2.1.1, in which the circumference is 150, and the existing Figure 2.1.2, in which the circumference is 24.)
