How to get in STAR mesh format?

I am trying to make a STAR mesh from a human lidar scan but am not sure how to go about this. The mesh I am using is incomplete as shown and as a .glb file. Is there a way to go about this conversion process? Thanks

I am facing a similar problem. I want to convert 4D scanned files （as .PLY .FBX and .OBJ）to STARmesh.But it doesn't look easy.

We don't think we have a public release of fitting code. Meshcapade has a service that fits SMPL (or SMPL-X) to scans like this. It's called digidoppel (https://digidoppel.com/).
