Trouble importing phpBB any help appreciated.

Wondering if you had any input into this issue I just submitted. After 4 days of learning nodebb and digging into this and the phpbb import code I have an ok idea how stuff works but this has me stuck :(

Hello, I answer myself: the solution was simple... My server did not allow external connections. I had to allow outside connections for the module to work (in fact, for security and performance questions I exported my phpbb database instead, installed it on the same database as the target nodeBB and performed the import with the module)
