Xcode12 build failure - Generic parameter 'Element' could not be inferred

I am facing the same issue in protobuf-swift while compiling in XCode 12.4 whereas it is working fine in 11.2
MACOS - 11.2.3 (Big Sur)
XCode - 12.4
Swift Version - 4, 5 tried both
