We have large no of security hub findings in our account. Due to this, the lambda function keeps on running for 15 mins and then times out.

We have set the function timeout to 15 mins , increased memory to 10,240 MB but it does not fix the issue.

Can the lambda code be updated to fix this or do we have any workaround ?

Lambda runs your code for a set amount of time before timing out. Timeout is the maximum amount of time in seconds that a Lambda function can run. The default value for this setting is 3 seconds, but you can adjust this in increments of 1 second up to a maximum value of 900 seconds (15 minutes).

In terms of workarounds, you can take the code and deploy it locally and invoke via AWS CLI credentials. Alternatively, you can introduce Step Function functionality to continually invoke the Lambda function. Here's an example of how to do it.
