Important update regarding Downshift 🏎️

Hey everyone! 👋

We're in the process of upgrading the ListBox-based components (ComboBox, Dropdown, MultiSelect, and FilterableMultiSelect) from downshift version 5.2.1 to the latest, 8.1.0.

This effort is a long time coming and will resolve a number of outstanding issues with these components. It improves accessibility and screenreader support by a significant margin, and is critical to ensuring security stability as older versions are more prone to vulnerabilities and CVE warnings.

The update to the latest downshift version has been published in a prerelease version of @carbon/react, v11.37.0-rc.0, for testing.
