Expected: no. Undefined: probably. You can do (->kebab-case "blah:1:blah" :separator \:) if you want to separate on colons (=> "blah-1-blah"). What output were you expecting?

No, but `:separator #"[:_]"` would.

And I agree that this is quite a surprising (and perhaps not entirely thought through) result. Separator doesn't help my situation as it breaks other use cases.
