Extraction not working

First of all why this line was commented in TextRecongnitionHelper

tessBaseApi.setPageSegMode(TessBaseAPI.PageSegMode.PSM_SINGLE_BLOCK_VERT_TEXT);

Second off when I scan my ID Card I only get popup with numbers
Is there more to it ??

Can you please give details I'm still learning and since this is the only open source working version I found I checked your link
Should I use the whole module tess-two implement it in MRZ not sure how I should proceed next
cause the current project isn't extracting name age....

Or if you have version that works I'd appreciate if you could upload it.
