Input field conversion to external input disabled?

Hey, so I'm a little surprised to see that after some update in the recent past, I can't "convert" input fields of nodes into external inputs anymore.*

My guess was that it was instead put into the "Inputs ->" of the right click context menu, but that is greyed out?

Is that an oversight? Temporary disabled until new version implemented? Am I doing something wrong?

*if anyone is confused, I mean the feature that allows a node to convert an input field like seed to an input that can be fed from another node per line connection.

As seen in the example, I used to be able to do these conversions, but now I can't undo it, or edit new nodes for that.

The "convert to xxx" feature in the context menu has been removed.
You can now connect the output line directly to the widget instead.
