It is already reported but as a feature in #6271
So, middle-click, is not working as expected, this report is not about "Middle-click pasting and not dragging", while I don't agree with pasting behavior, and at lest would like to have option to disable it:
This is a BUG report and I consider bug next behavior:
Middle-click has double functionality, it does "drag" when you don't have any node in buffer, but when you do have it becomes "paste".
If "paste" behavior is considered as "expected and normal" drag should be disabled as it unusable and only lead to confusion for new users (me for example).
And "drag even if mouse in on node" should be performed in other way, for example LMB + RMB.
I'm sure that there is a shortcut for cleaning buffer, but - this is NOT a solution.
Middle-click drag is different from LMB drag because it moves board even when mouse is on node, and "pasting behavior" makes this feature unusable.
