Mic not getting turned off

Describe the bug
The mic is not getting turned off even after 10 minutes of no input from user. It just remains on until we say something. This was not the case a few months back.

Steps to reproduce
Click on the mic and do not give any input.

Expected behavior
mic turns off after 5s of no input from user.

It seems an issue from Speech SDK. I have recently bumped it to 1.15.0, will check if it is still repro.

on the demo site, https://compulim.github.io/web-speech-cognitive-services/. stop button does not seem to work in that the red icon on the chrome tab does not disappear. same thing in my app. clicking abort does remove the red icon.

I'm having the same issue, any updates on this?

@compulim I am also having the same behavior, Mic doesn't turn off after certain time like 5 seconds for inactivity.
AFAIK it use to work earlier though.
I am using latest version of webchat, tried as well with 4.17.0 version
