ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'requests' during django-cryptapi installation

I'm facing an issue when installing the django-cryptapi library. I already have the requests module installed in my environment, but when I try to install django-cryptapi, I get the following error:

12.87       ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'requests'

Despite having requests installed via pip install requests, it seems that the installation process is not recognizing the module.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Ensure requests is installed in the environment (pip install requests).
2. Attempt to install django-cryptapi (pip install django-cryptapi).
3. The installation fails with the error ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'requests'.

I would appreciate any help or guidance on how to resolve this issue. Thank you!

finally

Thank you for your suggestion, but unfortunately, installing the packages one by one is not an option for me. My installation process involves installing dependencies together, using the latest versions of all libraries through requirements.txt. In that file, I have specified the requests library and the necessary django-cryptapi solutions.

I would appreciate it if you could try testing the installation on your end using requirements.txt to ensure everything works properly with a complex installation.

python manage.py migrate cryptapi -> CommandError: Conflicting migrations detected; multiple leaf nodes in the migration graph: (0008_auto_20241202_1806, 0009_remove_payment_value_paid_and_more in cryptapi).

It seems there's a conflict between the module migrations and yours since 0008_auto_20241202_1806 does not come from our module.
