Serial and Simple blink sketch pico2

nothing seems to run

Make sure you set the board to Pico 2 in the menus. The Pico and Pico2 executable formats are very different.

Under Arduino IDE code runs on pico2. if I build the code in Platformio as Pico2 it doesnt run maybe my ini file is wrong

Any reason you're hard-specifying the board_build.mcu If you drop it, does it build and run ion ARM mode?

I don't understand this ini file at all-

• you enable TINYUSB_HOST
• explicitly try to override the USB device stack (TUD_ENABLED = 0)
• Enable a bunch of USB host support for midi, cdc and msc devices
• Then your sketch uses nothing of that and only the regular hardware UARTs and a software UART?
• you should not add lib_deps =adafruit/Adafruit TinyUSB Library because the Arduino core already has it builtin
• RISC-V mode used for particular reason?
