Continuously draw multiple polygons

Is it possible to keep the polygon drawing mode active so the user can continuously draw multiple polygons without needing to re-click the polygon tool each time? This can be very helpful when users try to create many polygons/lines/points. The tool only needs to be clikced once.

mapbox-gl-draw allows creating custom modes. The LotsOfPointsMode is exactlly what I am looking for, but I am not quite sure how to integrate into the maplibre package.

I agree, maybe we could achieve this with a keyboard shortcut, I will take a look at it.
