Following the installation steps, an error always occurs at step 6. Attached is a screenshot of the console error. Since I don't understand C++ source code well, I can only provide this feedback

Which installation instructions are you referring to?

You can grab a build for Godot 4.5 (which just came out in the last 24 hours) by scrolling down at https://github.com/godotjs/GodotJS/actions/runs/17755750639. I'd strongly recommended V8 at this point.
