Description
Hi,
I tested your module on ASUS TUF Gaming F17 FX706HM with BIOS 313 from ASUS website (updated using ASUS EZ Flash Utility from BIOS):
https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-gaming/tuf-gaming/2021-asus-tuf-gaming-f17/helpdesk_bios/?model2Name=FX706HM
I needed to run the following to run the module:
sudo modprobe faustus let_it_burn=1
After setting up the module I could run your script and update with all modes working.
I created a video to show all the tests I could think of (sorry for the low quality, I didn't manage to make it with better quality):

In the video I tested FX706HM with BIOS version 313:
- changing the color from static green to static red
- changing the color from static red to static blue
- changing the mode to color cycle (slow?)
- changing the mode to strobe (fast?)
- changing the mode to breathe blue (medium? if I remember right)
- changing the mode to static blue (because this is what I will use)
So I checked all modes and all speeds (but I don't know exactly the speeds for sure for each check, sorry).
So.. if you check this, could you add FX706HM to the table?
System information images so that you'll see that I tested on the right laptop, "ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ASUS TUF Gaming F17 FX706HM_FX706HM" Gnome says:

root@debian:~/faustus# sudo dmidecode | grep "BIOS Inf" -A 3
BIOS Information
Vendor: American Megatrends International, LLC.
Version: FX706HM.313
Release Date: 08/12/2022
OS information: Debian with kernel version latest at the moment (6.0.0-6):
root@debian:~/faustus# uname -a
Linux debian 6.0.0-6-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.0.12-1 (2022-12-09) x86_64 GNU/Linux
Notes:
- RGB hot keys (Fn-Left, Fn-Right) are not functional.
- Fan mode change using FN hotkey (FN+F5) didn't do anything noticeable in my case (other FN hotkeys are also seen in Gnome and they have effects), so changing fan mode might not work.
- Keyboard backlight change brighter (FN+UP) or darker (FN+DOWN) works (it is not shown in Gnome, it is only changed on the keyboard).
- Display light change brighter (FN+F8) or darker (FN+F7) works (but it might be a Gnome feature actually, it shows in Gnome how brighter it is currently when I change it).
I can also add videos or photos for each tested feature if needed.
Thank you for your work. Keep up the good work!
